About Us

The Stoker has two Editors Kate Poyser Clark and Cheryl Davenport. We are volunteers, as are all of the team. We find working on a community magazine to be interesting, fun and very rewarding. Cheryl is excellent at proofreading and makes sure the finished magazine looks as great as it does! Kate does most of the monthly editing and running the online Stoker content and is learning lots about IT she never thought she would!

We also have a production team, Jules our brilliant and patient treasurer and subscription supervisor. Ella who manages our advertisers and helps with social media posts. Jane who arranges, updates and delivers our wonderful welcome packs to new residents in the villages, and Lainey who is helping with graphics and content. but we would love some new volunteers to help out, especially with delivery of the magazine and general help with content/ interviews.
